While this situation (and the points raised in this article) emphasises the ease with which someone with money can oust existing leadership, this happens every day when people sell their businesses on receiving a compelling offer.

Balancing all, I found enough evidence to believe Twitter can be heavily better managed and that Elon's approach will benefit Twitter in the medium to longer term. I think that people do not realise the extent of the "shrink to grow" transformation needed, so Elon needs to take it private to apply.
